Pate’s is known for great food and service, but recent visits left some patrons underwhelmed. Dishes were bland, portions small, and some items not well-executed. The fast-paced environment and noisy atmosphere detracted from the overall experience. However, there were still highlights like fresh fish dishes and professional service. For many, Pate’s is a favorite dining spot with unique and delicious offerings. While there were some disappointing aspects, many diners still had an enjoyable experience and are looking forward to returning. Overall, Pate's remains a popular choice for those seeking a quality meal on Cape Cod.

Impeccable service, friendly atmosphere, delicious food and drinks
We have dined at Pate's on numerous occasions and have always recommended it to others. However, our most recent visit was quite disappointing. The food was overly salty and the service was incredibly neglectful. We waited over 30 minutes for Sue to take our order and were left waiting at every turn afterwards. While other tables seated after us received prompt service, Sue appeared preoccupied with chatting with familiar guests and picking up drinks at the bar. This made our dining experience uncomfortably long as we struggled to get her attention. Hopefully, this was just an off night at Pate's.

Our dinner at Pate’s Restaurant was extraordinary in every way! It earned 10 gold stars from the moment we stepped in the door! In addition, we need to mention a very special ’THANK YOU!’ to Heather. Her thoughtful service, valuable input, and positive energy created a dynamic experience for one all!!! Wishing a successful 2025 for Pate’s and all its wonderful staff!
