The service is always superb and professional. The dining room is elegant with a seaside resort smart casual feel. My compliments again to the Chef and entire staff of 28 Atlantic. The scallops were overcooked and rubbery, although the accompaniments were enjoyable. The halibut, however, was the highlight of our dinner; it was served hot, and the curry sauce was both innovative and delicious. Unfortunately, the wagyu was a major letdown—it was chewy and fatty. On a positive note, the crème brûlée was excellent. As for the three-course meal, the mushroom bisque was served cold, and the wagyu was again disappointing, as mentioned earlier. Our server was friendly but perhaps a bit too talkative. They didn’t check in with us regarding our satisfaction with the dishes, and our water glasses needed more frequent refills. Additionally, it was hard to understand the assistants who brought the food out. Overall, this experience was a significant disappointment given the hype surrounding the restaurant.
