Suivant notre budget, nous avons opté pour le menu bistrot. De ce fait, nous avons été installés dans le hall du restaurant transformé en un charmant coin bistrot avec une ambiance musicale. Très joli! On y est bien.Le cuistot est un grand chef même pour l'assiette au budget moyen. Un régal!Le seul bémol : la patronne qui fait le service en salle est trop rigide. I knew this restaurant on the gastro side that is more than excellent (think to book nevertheless: Well yes, the chef works only fresh products so it involves some constraints, it makes sense)! and this noon, we were invited by our daughter on the bistro. Well, that guy from the burger, I'm not a dish fan, I'm asking again! I'm converted to the beef burger at the truffle of the st jean! As for the chocolate/caramel soup, my chocolate fan husband has enjoyed it! for me, less chocolate and sweet, I tasted an excellent gourmet coffee!

Refined restaurant in the village of tusson. one of my favorite addresses and one of the best gastronomic restaurants of charente! the bistrot side is also worth the detour. the "homemade" burgers of the chef are just exquisite, we want to go back to taste them all!! and to finish with the dessert: the chocolate soup! a fall on the ground .... side resto gastro, nothing to say, impeccable service, very good wine advice of the sommelier and patron saint of the restaurant. pure decoration, delicate cuisine. Bravo to them two. restaurant to make absolutely with friends, with a couple, ... especially don't pass by.

We didn't have a choice of the map at night. So we chose the burgers. a blinis burger with sauce with salmon crumbs too cooked and cheese ... bof ! The taste is not at the rendezvous. as to the burger "cantal veal and ceps" ... on the one hand we are not in the tradition announced by the michelin but on the other hand it has proved quite indigeste until the next day...The caramel, brownie and chocolate chips soup is much too sweet to the point of not feeling a true taste of chocolate, whether in brownie or in chocolate. The nuggets are largely useless. However, the entries were quite correct. I don't think the whole thing is gastronomic level and the quality ratio is not very balanced. fast service, correct reception.it seems to us that by adding a classic dish and removing a burger, it would already be better. in summer, making burgers playing more on freshness and local products would be good. And totally forget the chocolate soup for house ice cream with a spoonful of cognac, it would do it 100 times better!

OK, for the Brits reading this review. You know that waft you get from great chips, salt and vinegar? You get it here with beautiful chips and all of the rest of the stuff, like perfect, mature steak, and burgers: duck, veal and beef.Foie Gras, truffles, a sharp-sweet tomato tart with goats cheese. Black Cherry sorbet. Perfect service.Enough said.

According to our budget, we chose the bistro menu. As a result, we were installed in the hall of the restaurant transformed into a charming bistro corner with a musical atmosphere. Very nice! We're good.The cook is a big chef even for the average budget plate. The only flat: the boss who does the service in the room is too rigid. The work is very well done but a little lack of heat. A restaurant is not a canteen! encouragement!
