Maya, located in the heart of Charlottesville, Virginia's Midtown, invites you to join us for dinner five days a week. Our menu is carefully crafted from scratch daily, paying homage to the traditions of the Old Southern Kitchen. We are now accepting reservations from 4:30 Tuesday through Saturday, and offer curbside takeout during those same hours. Visit our homepage to view our daily updated selections. Your safety is our priority, as we seat guests six feet apart and require all visitors to be fully vaccinated. Masks are mandatory when entering and exiting, as well as when not seated at your table. We kindly ask that unvaccinated guests choose takeout options. Enjoy your meal and company for an hour and a half of delightful dining experience at Maya.

Great place to go and have very good food. The only reason I'm giving it a 4 stars is because it took a long time for us to get our dinner served....

Party of 5 and everyone enjoyed their meal. The pimento cheese fritters were great as an appetizer. And the service was great. The upstairs dining room is much preferred open and quiet enough for conversation. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Really liked that we were squeezed in on a Friday night. The pimento cheese fritters were great with the pepper jelly. I ordered a steak, medium with Brussel sprouts and Mac and cheese. Me and my fiances steaks were basically well done except for one end.If you eat outside be cautious of the ants, we had them crawling on our table and plates. Our waitress, Mary I believe, wasreal nice and helpful. We'll go again when we're in the area.
“Maya” as well empty the bank on small portions at this hole in the wall! Avoid this place like the plague $27 for a piece of chicken! You can’t make this up! Unbelievable!!!! Never again. Smart consumers beware.
