The service was friendly and efficient and the portions are generous. This was our first time, but we definitely plan to return.

We also... read more We had the mushroom risotto, the clams, some egg/dough thing in really thin layers. I forget what the names were on the menu...but the food was AMAZING. We also had amazing seasonal cocktails, Mas has the rare quality of elevating cocktails to be special and interesting as opposed to 'just ' using fancy ingredients.

I've only visited a few times, but each experience has been fantastic. Last night, my husband and I went to celebrate our anniversary, and we had the best time. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive to all COVID safety measures. The food and cocktails were delicious. We'll definitely be returning! It’s definitely worth the 45-minute drive. I apologize for the poor quality of my photo— it really doesn't do the food justice.

Expertly made entrees that ranged from surf to turf to garden. Not to mention the bacon wrapped dates that we had as anappetizer. This is a must stop location if you're visiting Charlottesville, and a wonderful treat for us who live here. Bonappetit.

It?s a bit too hectic to be enjoyable for conversation. But no complaints about the food, though! The patatasbravas are always a favorite with us. Rioja is great. I didn?t like the sangria as much. Bread and olive oil nothing comparesto that Spanish olive oil. I didn?t enjoy the flavor of the albondigas (meatballs); in fact, from the menu description, I didn?texpect them to be meatballs. The halloumi cheese was different but delicious! The sauce was unexpectedly slightly sweet. Theshrimp was delicious, and the sauce made it perfect. All in all, another incredible meal at Mas!
