When we placed our order, drinks never came and we had to remind someone. Even after getting drinks, they forgot they took our order and took it again. When itcame, part of it wasn't correct (which was mentioned both times we placed the order). Once we got the food, everything prettymuch went smoothly and was good as usual (we only go to the Richmond location). Maybe it was just an off night. We may stop byagain next time we are in the Charlottesville area

The Shocker had plenty of kick and flavor, and of you split a side of sweet potato fries with someone you won 't be too stuffed towalk around the downtown mall. Solid 'burg.

I w... read more I had previously gone to the Jack Brown location in Norfolk, VA, and I wanted a burger, so I figured if give this location a try while in town for business. I was not disappointed as it was just as good as the Norfolk location. They also had the sameselection of burgers as well. I've enjoyed every burger that I've ever tried at Jack Brown's, and the fries and special sauceare delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant for lunch or dinner if you're in search of a tasty burger at a great price.

She shared her knowledge of the area and gave us great ideas on what to see and do. She took the time to help us choose a cider and beer thatsuited our tastes from an impressively large selection. The food was even better than expected typical bar food BUT farabove typical in terms of flavor! Nothing fancy, but very satisfying. Prices were highly competitive and we were very pleasedwith the amount we received. It?s small, a bit dark, and one older couple left because it was ?too loud? no, it wasn?t (musicwas playing, but it never interfered with our ability to have a normal conversation with anyone. Don?t think you could do muchbetter if you?re looking for a beer and a burger in Cville. Parking is close by in 5th St Parking lot or the open lot next toit. Just off the Main Street, Downtown Mall find it, you?ll like it!

The service was good and the food was even better. They have unique hamburgers. We had the Elvis. It has peanut butter onit. Loved it!
