What Amadeus G doesn't like about Mama's Kitchen:
This restaurant in Charlotte is possibly the worst I have ever been to. When I called to place my order, no one answered the phone, so I went to the restaurant and waited at the counter for 25 minutes while employees ignored me. Eventually, a child took my order for a hamburger, fries, and sweet tea. The tea I received tasted old and watered down. After waiting 35 minutes, I finally received my food, only to find a s... Wow! The burgers at this place are fantastic! The BLT and chicken fried steak are also delicious. We will definitely be coming back to this restaurant. The staff is very friendly as well. Thank you for accommodating us at such a late hour. View all feedback.

Great home cooking, chicken fried steak and sides were great.and carrot cake was delicious and very moist.......
