What Mikayla W doesn't like about The Glass Onion:
The only thing good was the corn muffin. If you are going to call your restaurant Soul Food then it should taste like soul. Trust me there was no soul in that food. Everything was undercooked!!! Plus, don't call Lima beans Butterbeans this Georgia girl knows the difference. View all feedback. What Debbie likes about The Glass Onion:
Southern comfort food at its best! First time here, fantastic! We ordered the catfish with collard greens and cornbread and the shrimp and grits. Everything was prepared perfectly and was so good, we felt like we were in New Orleans. The owner was awesome and went beyond to make our meal enjoyable. This is perfectly prepared southern soulfood. read moreThe Glass Onion restaurant has received a mix of reviews from customers. Some found the food to be undercooked and lacking in soulful flavor, while others praised the southern style mashed potatoes and fried quail. One customer mentioned that the shrimp and grits they ordered were fantastic, finally redeeming the classic southern dish for them. The restaurant supports local farmers and serves a variety of southern fare, from roasted chicken to cornmeal fried dishes. Customers also enjoyed the cozy and quaint atmosphere, with standout dishes like Brussels sprouts and fried green tomatoes. Overall, The Glass Onion seems to offer a range of southern classics at a reasonable price, with exceptional service and a friendly staff.
