One of my best dining experiences in some time. We arrived 30 minutes early expecting to kill time at the bar but the bar was full and we were seated at our table right away. The service was top notch, always there when needed. The steaks were cooked perfectly, charred and a little salty on the outside and pink and warm in the middle. What Miracle Yundt doesn't like about Oak Steakhouse:
I asked twice that we have a quiet table with a view. We sat in a corner in the back of the 3. Stock with hardly enough space to cut our steaks and it was extremely loud. I asked while we were there to take a look at a table and we were rejected. This is my second attempt to have a positive experience with OAK. We won't be back. View all feedback.
I worked with chef and katie in banquet sales to plan a perfect 80th birthday dinner for my dad who needs to eat a gluten-free diet. the 3-course filet mignon meal was excellent. they have received my every question. at the moment when we arrived, we were greeted and greeted by every employee, whose way we crossed to our private table for 12. brian, our waiter was over gracious and delightful, as the other participants. every bite was delicious and they even made a nice printed menu that wished my dad a happy birthday. my elders were humble and honored. I recommend oak!
What a wonderful place to celebrate the 30th birthday of my mannes. our experience with the personal was perfect from beginning to end. they were unbelievable with our reservations. taylor was our server and she was amazing. Herman checked us and was so polite. also during the restaurant week, the staff was polite, efficient and thoughtful throughout our meal. that was the best steak I've ever eaten and may be my favorite eating experience. again thanks for a so beautiful evening.
Oak steakhouse on the broad street in charleston is one of my favorite places for a good steak meal with all sides. I like the location with its atmosphere and mood, which is elevated and comfortable at the same time. everything I ever ordered from here was well prepared, fresh and delicious. it is an unforgettable experience to eat here and they have consistently made quality and a good time available over the years.
Beyond delish! our server, chris, was top-notch and he really knows his wee! every piece steak was cooked for perfection and the hamburger was a wonderful evening, I highly recommend it!
This restaurant is fantastic. From the drinks to the dessert, everything was outstanding. The only downside was the noise level. We were seated on the upper level, and it was very hard to hear our waiter or have a conversation with each other. It was a bit frustrating to want a peaceful dinner but have to listen to the conversations of every large group.
