What impressed me about this subshop is the service. Today. You don't get a service. But I was surprised by the commitment for those looking for a sandwich. The manager seemed to train someone. And hey, it was cool. The help was kind, seems checked in. And that, my friends were very cool. Firehouse is a national chain. It has a theme. But it's really good. With steamed meat. It works. What User doesn't like about Firehouse Subs West Ashley:
Second time trying firehouse subs, to my disappointment the young lady behind the counter didn?t listen to my order correctly and I ended up having onions on my sub?. My thought is it?s my money and what if I was allergic?!?! Doesn?t anyone take their jobs seriously anymore. Waited over 15 mins for two subs, just to get my order incorrect ..let alone we were the only people in the place. What a let down. She was nice... View all feedback.
Not sure what happened to my last review. This location has been fine all the other times we went there. It was still fine yesterday with the exception that I couldn?t eat it. I would like to point out that my husband really enjoyed his sandwich and it was ready fast. However, I ordered my sandwich with gluten free bread. Apparently you were out of that which is fine. What was not fine, was the fact that an employee used regular bread instead and did not let me know. Luckily I have ordered this kind of bread enough that I knew it wasn?t gluten free bread. It?s important to note that this is not like using wheat bread instead of white bread. It is not substitutable. Please educate your employees on this. I understand people think eating gluten free is just a fad.. and for some it is. It is not for me.
It is really dirty inside dead bow on the ground right through registers, wrath and garbage everywhere. An employee clearly only took care of going home and pretending to clean up (Wicke something for a few seconds, then get yourself a broom or a mop just to get from the cashier every time she could start cleaning til 9 bc there were still people in the restaurant (about 8 of us). Only a person who makes the food. Cash register was used to help for a break instead of in food preparation. It took 25 minutes to get my sandwich. I should have gone when I saw how many pages waiting. A person made her order wrong. My order came before the person who ordered before me (which is good for me, but I felt bad for them! . I did not receive my pickle and despite the fact that normally fireworks is my favorite stuff, my food just doesn't taste good. I see that someone from the restaurant comes here and addresses / excuses say about all comments, it is not the norm for things to be bad? but it is clear that it is the norm and they should spend more time training employees instead of responding to Google comments.

You sang? Happy birthday to me, it really did my day! This keeps me back to this place because of their positive attitude.
Tasty subs. Fast, fresh, friendly. Cajun chicken on wheat is my jam. Miss vickies jalapeno chips. Raspberry light lemonade. Stay firey, my friends.
