Let me start by saying that I forgot to take pictures of the food because I was enjoying the company too much. The restaurant has a nice ambiance with plenty of seating and parking. If you enjoy tequila, their menu is amazing. The food was okay, nothing particularly special on the lunch menu worth writing home about. Maybe they could add some more unique dishes. The price for lunch wasn't bad, but a salad, Cuban sand... View all feedback.
What Sarah Sue doesn't like about Tequila Butcher:
Their Brussels are seriously the BEST I've had!! The agave glaze with char broiled sprouts is just incredible. Running debate is that they somehow taste like McDonald's chicken nuggets. ???? Was excited to try the ceviche with leche de tigre. Severally disappointed. It was Pico de Gallo at its best with hints of shrimp. Not what I anticipated. Cubano was also meh. Fish tacos were spot on. Very busy during dinner time... View all feedback.
We dined at this restaurant with a group of ten people for dinner. While the space is not ideal for larger parties, my meal, the smoked chicken salad, was enjoyable. The margaritas were tasty and the kids menu offered a good selection. However, I found the prices to be a bit high for the atmosphere. The service was excellent and the bathrooms were very clean, indicating a high standard of cleanliness. The main drawbacks were the limited menu, higher prices, and the space being more suitable for smaller family gatherings rather than larger groups.
The food was excellent! I ordered the Chile Relleno and the Brussel Sprouts. I forgot to add chicken to my order, but the Chile Relleno dish was incredibly flavorful. The Brussel Sprouts were roasted perfectly and mixed with a delicious sweet sauce. The prices were a bit high, but we were celebrating a birthday. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and charming. Our waitress was friendly and very attentive. Overall, my family and I had a great experience and really enjoyed the food.
The food at this restaurant is generally delicious, however, their beans are a major disappointment. I have been there three times now and can confidently say that they are some of the worst beans I have ever tasted. They have a strange beer-like flavor that nobody I dined with enjoyed. Despite this, everything else on the menu has been fantastic.
MK (Mary Kate) was our server and she was lovely! We had an amazing meal I would recommend the fajita salad with steak!! Thanks for having
My worst experience since visiting Minneapolis! We entered the establishment and weren't greeted in the kind nature as others who entered after us. Once seated, we were joined by a waitress who stepped on my foot that was recently healed from being broken. No worries, it was an accident. I just wished that she acted like she cared afterward. The food was a totally different story! The fries were hard due to be recooked. The salmon was dry as a desert. The best item was the water. And should I mention that the waitress threw the drinking straws that were not covered on the table. Horrible.
