We visited Guido's for the first time today and enjoyed our experience. The atmosphere has the feel of a large sports bar, and the service was excellent. The food was high quality and delicious. The drinks are great, and the food is just okay. This is more of a place to hang out with friends and have a good time rather than a destination for top-notch food.
I went with a large group of over 30 people and had a wonderful experience. The service was friendly, the food was delicious, and the portion sizes were generous. The only minor issue was that a couple of milkshakes were forgotten, but we just had to remind them. One critique I have is that having only one server for such a large group was quite a challenge for that poor person. They managed remarkably well under the circumstances. I would definitely visit again!
I've been here a few times. The best thing I've had is probably the fried mushrooms. Everything else, including the burgers, is consistently pretty mediocre. The karaoke on Thursdays is not really karaoke. Can't hear anyone cause music's so loud, which isprobably good when I'm the one singing but still, not really karaoke.
What a fantastic restaurant! From the moment we entered, a very friendly gentleman welcomed us. Our server, Gabby, truly excels in her role; she was incredibly friendly and took the time to chat with us a little. The food was delicious and expertly prepared. We look forward to returning the next time we're in Iowa!
Well first of all I just want to say my waitress was nice, and food was good until I saw a fruit fly flying from my burger,. I told my waitress and she rectified the problem and apologized, but where is the manager, her words were ? since we re made it,wewon?t give a discount,.? Ok that?s fine and all I?m great full for that but that was a given it should have been made overanyway without question if I wanted another order, but it sounds like you would have only given me a discount for a bug burgerlol, I?m posting to let everyone be aware they don?t care about the customer. I would have taken a picture to prove my point,but the other waitress took the plate so fast.lol..
