We decided to go out for dinner on a whim, aiming for something affordable yet tasty. Healthiness wasn't our main concern this time, as there were quite a few fried options. The flavor and service were spot on. There was a wedding happening in the side room, which added a fun atmosphere to our meal. While I wouldn't say it's the best dim sum you've ever had, it's certainly enjoyable. The highlight was the price—most dishes were only $3 to $5 each!
We visit this restaurant all the time because the food is incredible. The waitstaff recognizes us and always greets us on Sundays, asking how we're doing. They're really sweet, and the food—wow, I can hardly describe how amazing it is. I absolutely love this place!
From start to finish their service was great and everybody worked as a team. The food was absolutely exceptionally delicious. We ordered the lobster and ginger scallion sauce and it tasted extremely fresh. We came from out of town and will definitely come back to this place again just to eat. All their plates were great and they also recommended certain dishes for us as well.
We came here around 4pm and it was totally empty. They were just starting up the kitchen so we had to wait longer than usual to be fed. The dim sum is okay. I am from the Cantonese region of China so I have high standards. My American boyfriend really liked the fusion dishes like bacon-wrapped shrimp. I wish the food was served warmer. The atmosphere is nice though. It's decorated like a typical dim sum restaurant in China and you can hear the staff speaking Cantonese.
Happy Lunar New Year to everyone celebrating! My friends and I chose to celebrate at Canton House. We arrived early to reserve two large tables. While waiting, we enjoyed the festive lion dance and kung fu demonstration—a truly unforgettable celebration. Canton House offers an extensive dim sum menu, and you can also order additional dishes from their regular menu. Many of my friends had never tried dim sum before, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed both the restaurant and the food. Dim sum is especially fun with a big group, but it’s also great for smaller parties of 2 to 4 people who can pick a few favorite dishes to share. My personal favorite is the egg tart—I’ll always have a soft spot for Chinese egg tarts. We split the bill among 20 people, and it worked out to about $25 each. Parking was very convenient, and if you arrive early, you’re guaranteed a table. If you come later, expect a wait of 20 to 30 minutes.
**Canton House: A Dim Sum Destination Worth Returning To** Canton House delivers an enticing blend of authentic and fusion dishes, drawing diners back with its warm atmosphere and attentive service. While some may find the dim sum not as delicate as expected, highlights like the lobster with ginger scallion sauce and bacon-wrapped shrimp leave a lasting impression. Regulars rave about the delicious variety and friendly staff, who enhance the experience with helpful recommendations. Celebratory events, such as lion dances, add a festive touch, making it ideal for larger gatherings. Overall, this restaurant is a delightful spot for both casual diners and dim sum enthusiasts alike.

We arrived around 4 PM and the restaurant was completely empty. They had just opened the kitchen, so we had to wait longer than normal to get our food. The dim sum was decent, but coming from the Cantonese region of China, my expectations are quite high. My American boyfriend really enjoyed the fusion dishes, especially the bacon-wrapped shrimp. I do wish the food had been served warmer. On the plus side, the atmosphere is pleasant; it’s decorated like a traditional dim sum restaurant in China, and we could hear the staff speaking Cantonese.
Fantastic service big juicy bao and football dimsums huge taro puff w pork or shrimp we ordered chow fun beef soooo fresh and the sauce was on point the veggies crispy the beef tender . I will definitely return
I've been enjoying meals here since my college days—17 years ago—and the experience has always been exceptional and reliable. From the seafood and vegetables to the desserts, everything is absolutely delicious. The staff is friendly and helpful, always ready to explain the dishes, even if you're unfamiliar with them. This restaurant offers authentic dim sum prepared in the traditional style. That said, if you're someone who frequently complains, sends food back, or tries to get free meals, I kindly ask you to stay away. Don't ruin the experience for others. Embrace the authentic atmosphere!
The best place in all of Atlanta for dumplings! They offer a full dumpling menu, including shrimp options for those who don't eat meat! Absolutely delicious!
From the moment we arrived until the end of our meal, the service was impeccable, with the staff working together smoothly as a team. The food was truly outstanding. We had the lobster with ginger scallion sauce, and it was incredibly fresh. Since we traveled from out of town, we will definitely return to this restaurant just to savor the food again. Every dish we tried was fantastic, and the staff provided excellent recommendations.
