Tag's Meat Market Deli - Chalmette

The hog's head cheese was delicious and I was able to try a few different varieties before I bought one.

Wasn't a fan. Got burger and motz sticks. Motz sticks weren't cooked enough and burger tasted bland. Lady taking order was having a bad day I think as she was rude to us and others.

Although I didn't order a bite due to the lack of hunger. I did visit the meat market and made a few groceries with them. I sampled their homemade hog head cheese for the first time and it wasn't bad at all. A very quaint and homely market and restaurant for the Locals and far abroad Louisianians to drive all the way from wherever to Chalmette just to show them love and take some hog head cheese back with them.

I went to get the gumbo hogshead cheese...they were sold out....Gotta go back...Gotta try it. I did try the regular hot hogshead hogshead cheese...tasty good.

When you feel like eating a great cheese burger ?? go to this place, every time we work in chalmette we definitely go here I personally get a cheese ? burger on French ? dressed and man I telling you very ?.
