We’ve long needed a drive-thru coffee shop in Chalmette, and it’s finally here! I've never had any issues with their coffee, and the staff is super friendly. I really enjoyed studying there during my college years.
The service was a bit slow, but the coffee was excellent, and I really needed the Wi-Fi. Food rating: 4/5.
The coffee is fantastic! I would have given them a full 5 stars, but I'm a bit particular when it comes to creamer options. They only offered Coffee Mate instead of real half-and-half. I probably should have asked, though, because the staff was friendly and very helpful. I'm sure they would have accommodated my request if it was available.
Always a gamble if its going to be decent or not. Can't tell the difference between the latte and a cappacino. Both are the same weight with the same ammount of milk/foam. Coffee is always too hot. Definitely steaming the milk too long. Ive seen them doit. Beans seem to be reused because when ordering two coffees consecutively one is not as strong as the other. Have to throwaway coffee far too often.
My favorite restaurant! The takeout service is excellent, and the food is outstanding—definitely a five-star experience. The service also deserves a full five stars, and the overall atmosphere is fantastic.
