What User doesn't like about Darby's Fresh Bake:
Ive bought pies and cakes here many times in the past and they have been very nice. Not so much this time. I ordered a pepper pie and the pastry was a bit hard and carboardy, meat had nice peppery taste but not much meat. Very cheap though at $2.50, so filled a hole and doesnt put a hole in your pocket... This restaurant is fantastic. The food and service are both top-notch. I only deducted one star because of the occasional presence of flies outside.

Goldbergs is a popular choice for many people on Darby Street. It is known for being reliable, warm, and cozy, with a charming back courtyard.

It's Anzac weekend and we're here for Groovin' The Moo and decided to explore Newcastle. It seems Darby St is the place to be, so here we are.
