Both tonkotasu and old skool tofu were tasty and noodles cooked to good texture. Egg could be included and marinated longer (agree with others here) but we still felt like we had a good dinner with half set gyōza each added. Would come back and maybe ask for some more chilli to lift thee broth a little. View all feedback.
What Anna L doesn't like about Koi Ramen (tooting Market):
Have wanted to try this for ages but was a bit disappointed. Only got a single slice of pork in the ramen, the serving was average in size and the spoons were not a proper ladle so it was hard to get a good serving of soup and noodle. Wont go back. View all feedback.
Ramen is my go-to comfort food, and I've tried it in Japan, Southeast Asia, Australia, and Europe. Shoryu Ramen is my top choice in London. It embodies everything I love about ramen—simple, bold flavors and quality ingredients, without any unnecessary frills. While I haven't dined in the restaurant, I do order from them weekly at home. The packaging is excellent, and the gyoza is fantastic. I really hope they can start offering eggs for delivery soon, as they aren't available yet!
Absolutely delicious ramen! The broth is thick and creamy, the noodles are springy with the perfect texture, and the meats are tender. Overall, it’s really fantastic!
Koi serves incredibly tasty ramen and dumplings! However, I found the amount of chicken in the ramen to be quite minimal. I would have appreciated at least double that quantity considering the price we paid. Overall, it was a good experience, but the portion size was disappointing.
Absolutely delicious food and fantastic staff! This is the closest you'll find to truly authentic ramen flavors in Tooting at such a reasonable price. I highly recommend visiting at least once to experience it for yourself!
I've been wanting to try this place for a long time, but I ended up feeling a bit let down. The ramen came with just one slice of pork, the portion size was average, and the spoons were not proper ladles, making it difficult to scoop up a decent amount of soup and noodles. I don't think I'll be returning.
