Darling atmosphere, fancy but comfortable. The food was AMAZING! The Philly CheeseSteak sandwich was the best I've ever had. Tons of peppers, and mushrooms, and we got it with white America cheese and it was gooey delicious. And ofcourse the beer bread there is so famously delicious and rightfully so. Customer service was top notch- friendliest staff, andmy fries weren't hot when they came out. I asked if they would warm them up and they just brought me out a huge order of thehottest, freshest sweet potatoes fries I've ever had. The bread with the strawberry custard butter was deliscious. I had the crispy chicken and avocado salad. The crispy chicken was cookedperfectly.

I had the Mexican Club... read more I highly recommend Hug-Hes Cafe! I went here today for the first time with coworkers and everyone had good things to say about the food. I had the Mexican Club Wrap with Buffalo Fries and would get it again in a heartbeat! The meal came with a pickle anda fry sauce. We had the artichoke dip for an appetizer, but I didn’t take a photo. It was delicious! We all grabbed a cookieon our way out. I grabbed a sugar cookie with pink frosting for my kids and I’m sure they’re going to love it. I didn’tcatch her name, but our waitress was great! My water was never less than halfway empty! She definitely took good care ofus. I’ll be back for more delicious food!

The bonus cookies and bread are always yummy! The restaurant tastes homemade. However, I ordered online and asked for the gravy on the side. As you can see, it's smothered. When I picked up my meal, they said it was an additional $2.50for extra gravy. I said, that I didn't want extra gravy...but just on the side. They didn't say anything, (despite adding atip). I came home and it was all soggy. I was disappointed. The last time I ordered online from Hug-Hes, I was given the wrongmeal. I understand it's a difficult time for all businesses... So, I guess the moral of the story is; always check your order inthe restaurant before leaving to be sure it is correct ???????????
