At a recent dining experience at a local IHOP, guests reported a mixed bag of impressions. While many praised the warmth and attentiveness of the staff, particularly a standout server named Samantha, others expressed frustration over food quality and service delays. Complaints included undercooked dishes, long waits and cleanliness issues, yet some diners left feeling satisfied with flavorful meals and the manager's hands-on approach during a busy breakfast rush. Despite the inconsistency, the welcoming atmosphere and friendly service left a positive mark on several patrons, reaffirming that good staff can significantly enhance a dining experience, even amid challenges.

What Marisol Hernandez dislikes about IHOP:
Just came here all the servers saw me standing there and no one until several minutes later, decided to tell me that they didn’t have a hostess. Terrible, rude customer service. Go to the iHop in West Valley. They have amazing customer service compared to these people. View all feedback.
???? I wish I had something good to say, honestly. I don't like to leave bad reviews. Some of the food was ok once we sent back the pictured salad, got one order fixed that came incorrect, and spent an hour there. The hour was including waiting for ourseat as well. The actual time from ordering to getting the food was more like 40 minutes.
If you want an omelet with no filling or raw eggs this is your place. I ordered bacon omelet and was surprised to find the only cheese in it was the sprinkling on the top and the only bacon was on the top layer. Nothing but scrambled eggs for the rest ofit. No filling or even a piece of cheese. Just eggs. The waitress was amazing and when I showed her she immediately ran to theback to get a new one. I didn't even ask gor a new one just wanted to show her so someone else didn't get scammed for a $13scrambled egg. The next one was raw inside and I'm not joking. It was so raw that when I cut it open the raw eggs poured out ofthe omelet. Needless to say I didn't eat it. As far as cleanliness there were 3 tables with people and probably 8 c9vered withdirty dishes. The greater looked at us several times while we waited to be seated before seating us and I never saw her even tryto bus a table. I did however see her on her dang phone all the time. The restroom has ZERO toilet paper and this a bad thingto figure out when your coffee comes a calling. Needless to say I will not be back to this particular IHOP ever again.
We visited this morning and I want to commend the manager for their excellent service. The staff appeared to be a bit under-staffed, with one person in the kitchen, a busser, and two servers, but the manager stepped in to help with seating, bussing, and cooking. I’m not sure how they manage to handle the pressure while still providing high-quality food and service. Even when some guests were less than pleasant towards the staff, they remained calm, friendly, and attentive to us and the rest of the customers. My son ordered the Funny Face Pancake, my daughter had the Mexican 3 Leches Pancakes, and I enjoyed the Sirloin Tips with onions and mushrooms, eggs, and hash browns. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. It's such a pleasure to dine in a restaurant with such professional staff. I’ve eaten at other locations where the service was just okay, but now this has become my favorite IHOP.
I was surprised at how hard the pancakes were; they felt more like frisbees. Our server didn’t come to check on us after our food arrived, and when it was time to pay, she didn’t return either. Thankfully, a manager noticed my frustration and stepped in to take our payment; otherwise, we might still be waiting.
Honestly, it's mostly candy and sugar with a few waffles or pancakes thrown in to draw in customers. I'm not quite sure why an adult would choose to dine here willingly. Maybe consider what breakfast looks like in other parts of the world. But if you're looking to indulge and have diabetes on your bucket list, feel free to eat here as often as you like.
