Lunched here yesterday with 5 friends. The food was impressive and menu broad. The outlook over the park is gorgeous. Only concern was the service. One wrong meal came out and overall there was no clear wait person assigned to the table. We were served by so many different staff and the attentiveness to service wasn't on par with where it should be. We had to remind staff after waiting halfway through our meal for ou... This is a review of a restaurant experience from last Thursday. It was a beautiful day, perfect for a walk in the park followed by lunch. However, the lunch did not meet expectations. There was a 10-minute wait for a table, as all the waiters seemed preoccupied and not assisting customers. After finally being seated, orders were taken after another long wait. Despite requesting that our children's meals be served fir... View all feedback.
The service was fast, friendly and polite, my husband had a perfect steak and I had a pork fillet which was a bit tough. All the vegetables etc. were fantastic and very flavoursome. Set in acres of lush green grass with a view of beautiful old trees you can't go wrong here, added to that a perfect blue sky and a pleasant breeze. Sitting outside was lovely, yesterday would have been impossible with the high temperatures we've been having. A great place for good value, good food and wonderful surroundings, we'll be back!

One wrong meal came out and overall there was no clear wait person assigned to the table. We were served by so many different staff and the attentiveness to service wasn't on par with where it should be. We had to remind staff after waiting halfway through our meal for our drinks order and we were never asked if we wanted coffee or desserts. We had to get up to go to staff a number of times as we could not get there attention. It is a big venue, was busy but with lots of staff. It appeared they had not been assigned tables so it was a bit of a scattergun approach. I would return as food and location is great but service needs some improvements.
Invited to lunch with a cousin who lives nearby and it was her recommendation that brought us to this excellent venue.Sipping French champagne by the glass and enjoying delicious fare in a peaceful and tranquil setting!Excellent menu with fish and chips our favourite on offer...The large windows invites the beautiful scenery in... all in all a fantastic find.Great and attentive staff.. very friendly
This park is very massive and a magnificent place for many activities, such as bird-spotting, picnics, weddings, parties and duck feeding. It has got a bunch of playgrounds, cycling tracks and lovely horses trotting by. Must go at any time.
This is a great stop to do whatever floats your boat. You can go for a cycle, a run, toller blade, play group sports, horse riding or jus lay off and watch the clouds roll by. Whatever you decide, it is a great place to get wawa from the crowds of the city and is suburbs. Bring a picnic and enjoy the park
