Waffle House - Cedartown

Busy when we arrived, but well staffed. Our wait for our food was normal, not long at all. Excellent service.

Our waitress was nice and attentive. There was nothing wrong with our food, so kudos to the cook as well. My complaint was that the restaurant was just not clean. The floors were wet (not from mopping, but here's a for using the wet floor signs). Thebooth dividers and windows were covered with pediatric artistry of an unknown medium. The menus were disgusting. It looked likeneither had been wiped down in days. I am definitely a big Waffle House fan, and I understand a busy day in the serviceindustry. But come on folks. It was a Tuesday night at 10:30. There were plenty of people there to do the basics, like make itsafe to come in and enjoy a meal. I would be embarrassed to invite someone into my kitchen or dining room with it looking likethat. And if you need to have someone hang out there all night, he should be made to play the jukebox instead of his phone wideopen overriding any conversation actual paying patrons were trying to have. I tipped my waitress well, and I held my tongue. ButI'd rather spend my money and drive to Rome than to ever eat here again.

I recently visited for my all-time favorite breakfast, the All-Star Breakfast. I ordered eggs over easy, sausage, and grits, and it was fantastic. The waffle from the waffle maker was so delicious! This Waffle House is just as good as any I've been to. If you haven't tried it yet, you're really missing out. I make it a point to stop by whenever I'm nearby and in the mood for a hearty breakfast, especially when I have time to sit down and enjoy the meal.

The Waffle House on Highway 411 is top-notch. The food is excellent, and even the presentation is impressive. The servers are attentive, and the restaurant maintains a clean environment. The food here simply tastes better. Other Waffle Houses in the city could benefit from improvements in cleanliness and updates. Additionally, the food preparation at those locations needs enhancement. While some servers at those other restaurants provide great service, others could use more training in customer service.

I rate this restaurant four stars due to some issues, although they weren't related to the food. The staff was friendly, and I would definitely return. I won’t compare it to a more upscale restaurant since that wouldn’t be fair. However, for fast food, what they serve is quite tasty. Is it too complicated? Not at all—there’s nothing wrong with dining here.
