Brewing Company - Cedar Rapids
Brewing Company
Description
After exploring different opinions on the experience at this brewery, it is evident that the quality of food can vary. While some patrons raved about the exceptional service and delicious house-made brews, others were disappointed by the food offerings. Concerns were raised regarding the small and poorly cooked wings, bland onion rings, and unappealing tenderloin dish drowned in mayonnaise. Despite these setbacks, the warm and friendly ambiance of the sports bar and the attentive service from staff like bartender Nikki stood out to many customers. The grilled Buffalo chicken wrap, along with the signature Dixie heat wing sauce, received high praise for being consistently flavorful and satisfying over various visits. Ultimately, the reviews highlight a mixed dining experience with room for improvement in certain areas of the menu.

"Wow! They've really improved! This is one of the best breweries and game rooms in town. It's probably the furthest brewery I've visited, but my friends live just around the corner, so I go there frequently. The place is always bustling due to its delicious food (the chicken egg rolls are my favorite—they're massive!) and excellent craft beer, along with tasty cocktails. The ambiance has a rustic charm, and there's a spacious patio. Plus, there's plenty of parking available. It's an ideal spot for groups and perfect for late-night eats!"
I visited this restaurant for a Fantasy Football draft and had a fantastic experience with the service. The staff was attentive and ensured our drinks were always full. However, the food left a lot to be desired. I ordered the Scottie sandwich, and it turned out to be quite bland. Even adding salt and a pickle didn’t help much; it was still lacking in flavor. The homemade chips also tasted a bit stale. On the bright side, the ranch dressing was excellent. I would definitely return for drinks, but I wouldn't come back for the food.
I hadn't visited this place in years, but I returned to try a new beer they brewed. It's a cozy little neighborhood bar that offers excellent food. It’s the kind of spot you can bring your family to. Although we didn’t eat during this visit, I have always enjoyed the food here in the past. The staff is friendly, prompt, and helpful. Overall, it’s a great place for a relaxing outing.
My husband's wrap was drenched in sauce, more like someone tried to serve soup in a tortilla. My fish had this weird peppery breading on it that overpowered the taste of everything else. Waitress seemed inconvenienced by our presence and wouldn't speak up. Absolutely not coming back. Only giving 2 stars because the fries were good.
Burger basket Mondays have become a cherished family tradition for us. You simply can't beat the amazing pub burgers and fries for just $6. The service here is exceptional as well. I'm quite particular about good service, and I honestly can't recall a single time I've had a disappointing experience during the many weeks I've been coming here.
