Description

Charming neighborhood café on Boyson Road offers a relaxed, cool-decor vibe with varied seating—tables, armchairs by a fireplace—and friendly, efficient staff. The menu spans sandwiches, salads, soups (notably chicken noodle), baked goods, pick-two plates, real-fruit smoothies, loose-leaf chai and an ice-cream–based frozen white chocolate mocha. Quality is mostly good but uneven: some dishes and coffee can taste bitter or overthickened, booths show wear, and a customer-only table policy plus proximity to bathrooms may deter lingerers. Prices trend a bit high.

Interesting concept on drip coffee they don't have a house drip ready to go, rather all of their beans are available via pour over. While not the quickest way to grab and go, I enjoyed the custom pour over device they had made for the shop once your coffee was dripping, it's up to you to grab it when it's done. Oh, and keep your eye on it as it'll keep dripping and overflow. ; Many beans to choose from I went with the house roast which was medium bodied, slightly nutty, and just the right boost of caffeine for the morning.

This place is great! The owners are as friendly as they come. The coffee was fresh, delicious, and came in a nice big mug. The décor was immediately inviting. I loved the fireplace! My wife and I also had breakfast here. The breakfast sandwich and burrito come with your choice of 4 different meats. I had the breakfast burrito with sausage and was satisfied. The salsa was flavorful and paired superbly with my meal. The only downside is that I do not live in the area, otherwise I would be back every day!

I 'm a huge fan of Java creek! The food is great, and the coffee is good. The space is great for studying or getting work done. I do have one complaint. I have been in on several occasions and each time the female owner barks or speaks rudely to her employees. Today across the dinning are she yell at an employee to get off her clock. I just hope that she values her team members because they do a great job, and I 'd hate to see the place burn through even more employees.

Soups, salads, and sandwiches served up in a cozy, comfortable environment. Come for lunch or just a cup of java. Or, do what I do and camp out all day while studying. There is a fireplace in the back room and booths in the front room. Pour over coffee, espresso drinks, and smoothies are available. I love the Ultimate BLT, almost all of their soups, and the southwestern salad. Honestly, I haven't had a thing I didn't like. Don't let the strip mall fool you, this is a true coffeeshop.

I 've no doubt that the rest of the menu items are tasty, but my go to is the fiesta salad every time I come to town. And the specialty coffees...yum!! This is a lovely neighborhood spot that is on my must visit list whenever I come to town to visit my sister from the east coast. I love sitting near the fireplace and enjoying the food and the company. This trip we also stayed a little longer and enjoyed a friendly game of scrabble while catching up with friends at one of the large tables that was made for gaming.
