The owners are as friendly as they come. The coffee was fresh, delicious, and came in a nice big mug. The décor was immediately inviting. I loved the fireplace! My wife and I also had breakfast here. The breakfast sandwich and burrito come with your choice of 4 different meats. I had the breakfast burrito with sausage and was satisfied. The salsa was flavorful and paired superbly with my meal. The only downside is that I do not live in the area, otherwise I would be back every day!

I have... read more I 'm a huge fan of Java creek! The food is great, and the coffee is good. The space is great for studying or getting work done. I do have one complaint. I have been in on several occasions and each time the female owner barks or speaks rudely to her employees. Today across the dinning are she yell at an employee to get off her clock. I just hope that she values her team members because they do a great job, and I 'd hate to see the place burn through even more employees.

Or, do what I do and camp out all day while studying. There is a fireplace in the back room and booths in the front room. Pour over coffee, espresso drinks, and smoothies are available. I love the Ultimate BLT, almost all of their soups, and the southwestern salad. Honestly, I haven't had a thing I didn't like. Don't let the strip mall fool you, this is a true coffeeshop.

Each time I go back, I try to experience something new that wasn't there before I moved to AZ. My last time back, Java Creek Cafe was my new place to try. I made a wise choice! I was pleasantly surprised by everything at Java Creek. The coffee isn't exactly the best I have encountered, but it was definitely tasty. The overall atmosphere was awesome, and probably my favorite thing about the place. From a nice fireplace setting, to a ton of menu options, to plenty of different seating choices for all of the various patrons (causal lunch crowd, IT folk doing work, friends catching up, college kids), to the music, Java Creek offers a great experience. While there, I was able to get some work done, enjoy of decent Mocha, play catch up with a friend and people watch a variety of different humans. I'll definitely make Java Creek a regular stop whenever I am back in Iowa, and have already recommended it to 10 locals before I left town. I'm glad to finally see a place like this in CR.

(Ordered a club but came with out bacon) Small place understand the need to reserve seats for “paying “ customers but don’t appreciate the tone. Better way to say this is “Due to limited seating, we ask that all seats be used only by paying customers “

The whole cafe looks very cool too, I wish I had time to sit! Staff was friendly and handling the rush well. They have a rule that tables are for customers, so don't come to just sit and not order something (the menu looked amazing anyway . They are rather pricey, but I didn't mind as it was really good quality. My smoothly was actual fruit and not the powder that some places try to get away with. And that creme cake was amazing (made there! You could easily do lunch here. They have tons of options for food, not just drinks.

It's simply amazing. I have a ranked list of the best places to get chicken noodle soup, and Java Creek Cafe has been #1 ever since I went there. I simply cannot impress upon you enough how good the chicken noodle soup is. I wish I could rate this place 6 stars, no, 7. It has an extremely cozy atmosphere, with comfortable chairs, a fireplace, board games, modern art, and more. The workers are friendly and all the food is good. A fantastic place to meet new people, study, or simply relax in the ambience.
