I went to a restaurant with my adult daughter and four grandchildren on Boyson Center Point Rd in Cedar Rapids. I spent almost $60 and was very disappointed with my meal. My burger was extremely thin and burnt to a crisp around the edges. When I asked for a replacement, they told me they were all cooked the same way. They did not offer a replacement or refund, so I ended up throwing it away. I will never return to this restaurant and will warn others about their terrible customer service.
Culver's consistently gets our order correct. We have gone there multiple times in a row because we appreciate the efficient service and friendly staff. The wait time is minimal, making it a pleasant dining experience overall.
I went on a Friday night and needed a good and fast eating between my jobs, it was perfect, but as someone who cooked in the past, perfection can not be rushed, provided that I could have chosen somewhere else if I wanted fast, but the first bite made for everything. If they have the time, I would definitely recommend it.
For the first time in years I finally decided to order something other than my usual Wisconsin swiss melt. I have never had a bad experience with Culvers. But today, the fish sandwich I ordered was more reminiscent of a deep fried rancid sponge. Service is always outstanding and the wait time short. Culvers is the gold standard for franchise restaurants. Fish sandwich, not so much. Still 5 stars
