Schooners - Cayucos

I have visited this restaurant multiple times, even before they offered the Impossible Burger, but the burger is fantastic! It comes with sweet potato fries and it's delicious. There aren't many options in the area for late-night vegan/vegetarian food, so this place is a great find. The bun and cheese on the burger are not vegan, but they can be easily removed. I have also tried their cheeseless meatless nachos, steamed veggies, and other rotating vegan/vegetarian dishes. The view, the staff, and the drinks are all top-notch - you can't go wrong here.

We thought we were going to start and have a late lunch. we were sitting outside first, but the rain came in and were quickly accommodated in the bar area. the place is one of those who remember it with many funky decorations and a lot of atmosphere. it is located on the promenade with a decent view of the pacific and a good piece outside. we had the fishtacos and clam chowder and found both delicious. the service was decent and bar drinks came fast. we will definitely visit our next visit. city cowgill

So definitiw not eat fine, the menu free from michelin stars or hostile praises. but what they do is honestly well prepared dug at a more than reasonable price, a reasonable priced beverage list and bucket of atmosphere and mood and with the additional bonus of not a white table cloth in me did we here twice again this was cayucos from the season and so choice was opened by the (al second kitchen to be fair, I made a reservation for the frau socal enjoyed both her dinner, especially the grilled salmon caesar salad, while my horseradish ahi packed a delightful kick and the clam chowder was pure comfort eating. our hotel recommended schooners I am glad that we have taken their advice.

Mediocre albacore melt. had higher expectations. hope rest of the menu is better. apparently I need a 100-sign evaluation, so I added this last set!

We have quoted a time of about 45 minutes waiting. about an hour later, after we checked with the hostess several times, and after two parties who came to us sat before us, we looked at the lists of the hostess. sure were two parties of 2 (same party size as my party) sitting before us (picture attached) although we were willing to sit somewhere. about 15 minutes after the (30 minutes after the approximate time we were quoted) we sat finally, it must have been 10 minutes before the waitress took our drink order. until then we were ready to order food. our drinks came about 1 minute before our dinner and about 2 minutes before the party next to us, which sat about 15 minutes after sitting. eating was in order, not great, and it is worth not to waste more than 2 hours.
