This is undoubtedly one of the best restaurants on the central coast. The food is expertly prepared and tastes amazing! The staff is very friendly. We love dining here for lunch or dinner, and I’ve never had anything less than an excellent meal. I highly recommend Martin's because the experience is consistently great. I also suggest it to out-of-town visitors. The atmosphere is casual and intimate, and you will always enjoy the fantastic food.
First of all, you're in a fantastic location—Cayucos, California! When you come across a restaurant that offers both Mexican and Italian cuisine, you might pause and think, "Hmm." But whether you enter out of hunger or curiosity, let me tell you, it's worth it! The staff is polite, friendly, and provides excellent service. And the food? It's beautifully presented and absolutely delicious!
My husband and I were in Cayucos on a Wednesday night during a trip on the Central California Coast. There were only a couple of restaurants in the town open, and we didn’t feel like driving south to Morro Bay. The other restaurant was a seafood place, which we don't like, so Martin’s was pretty much our only option. The inside of the restaurant looked a bit run down, and I wondered if we’d made a mistake by coming there. But the menu offered a lot of entrée choices, and we both quickly chose items we wanted. I opted for the vegetarian lasagna. It was delivered to the table piping hot, and with a large portion of yummy foccacia bread. The lasagna was delicious. I was happy we were able to get a delicious meal without leaving Cayucos.
The tortilla soup is delicious and makes for a great side dish. The prices are quite reasonable. However, the service could use some improvement.
