Cozy, seaside view with plenty of seating and classic seafood options. Prices are what you would expect, nothing too pricey. We went with fish and chips and a bowl of clam chowder. The fish was fresh and the portions are big. I would recommend this place if you are looking for a place to relax and eat a meal by the beach. I visited this restaurant specifically for their clam chowder, and it was the best I have ever tasted. The only issue I had was when I called in an order for pick up, they expected a tip when I arrived to collect the food. There was no service provided, and the staff member became upset and acted unprofessionally when I didn't leave a tip. If we had dined in the restaurant, we would have gladly left a tip. The best fish I've had. We had the fish bowl with grilled fish, steamed veggie , and rice. It was awesome...We also tried the Manhattan chowder and it was the best I've had, except my mom's. I can't wait to go back. Friendly staff, nice patio, AWESOME food. Thank you
When they come to duckies, they can discourage the amount of people waiting in the line to get. not angry, the turn is fast. they will quickly find a place. sit down and enjoy the best seafood here in cayucos. they know that the seafood is fresh because it is right on the beach. this place is pulsating and with friendly, fast service you can quickly remember something. try the fishtacos loaded with fish or garnel with all their garnishes. they are also known for their muddles.
Very good portions fresh fish. beautiful fresh koleslaw with variety of cauliflower: wonderful chowder. good beer and wine.
I love this place! the people are hard working and friendly. we live 300 miles away and some days I wake up ready to go to duckies for lunch. is so good and fresh to eat. two taco plate is very full and delicious. the atmosphere is beach casual and just a few steps from the beautiful cayucos pier.
