This place has much improved since I was last here. I can say their Burro Roqueta is fantastic. I get pork which is cooked in beer and covered with cheese and Adobe sauce plus I add extra pico de gallo. Wow it is good!!! I haven’t tried anything else because I love this dish such much. Important to have cook to heat the plate in the oven longer than they usually do as this blends the flavor so well! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Monterrey Mexican:
I ordered a vegetarian fajita that was supposed to come with rice, beef, and a guacamole salad, but there was no guacamole on my plate. The fajita also had frozen mixed vegetables instead of the traditional bell peppers and mushrooms. The menu did not mention anything about the vegetables being acidic. Additionally, there were unusual ingredients like cabbage, carrots, zucchini, and lima beans in the fajita. The rest... View all feedback.
Was on a trip and love this place to house so thought it was a good stop. unfortunately was good on the bland side.

Way better than San Jose’s food and staff was good very nice but if you’re looking for authentic this is not the place
