Went to Mandoon last Friday, and was exceptional, food was great and the staff attentive and polite. One thing that has been missing in these Covid staff shortage times is good manners.
Ordered the pan-fried gnocchi, but it wasn't what I expected. a square plate of what came like a pasta bag in a round bowl, it was tasteless, dry and found nothing appetit about it. husband mentioned the chips. his order from cheeseburger to the waitress as usual and the answer he got was that they 're gluten-free. the service was quite normal, the staff jumped over the table after we were finished feeling uncomfortable. I feel we had a strict deadline there. they may inform the guests about the fries so they are aware. it will take a long time to get back. the need to improve ten times.
Had the best lunch here, where every meal was delicious. the garlic bread on GF bread should die for it. had the fish on an aubergine sauce for the net again it was so delicious and made it with a cream bubble. with a bottle. champagne and attentive service, it was such a pleasant afternoon. mandoon is my favorite place in the swan valley.
Bad service staff have no menu and eating was below average. second disappointing visit at the same place homestead brewery will not get a third chance.
