Fillaudeau's café restaurant offers a delightful French dining experience with a range of mouthwatering dishes and excellent service. While some diners experienced issues with steak doneness, overall, the mains were praised for being of high quality and delicious. The atmosphere is pleasant, with a nice setting and friendly staff. The memorable Sunday lunch featured delectable options like pork belly and perfectly cooked fillets. The menu also includes tasty starters and desserts, with a good selection of wines to complement the meal. The restaurant is known for its attention to detail and quality presentation. Lovely family lunch. Starters were nice but not overly great. Mains were excellent. 4 grass fed fillets all perfectly medium. Sauces delicious. Vegetables perfect. Nice atmosphere. Nice service. Pleasant setting. Recommend. View all feedback.

What Deven Ondricka dislikes about Fillaudeau's:
Unfortunately everyone who ordered a medium to medium-well done steak had it come out raw, we could hear the food moo. The arancini was quite nice and the staff were pleasant. But for a $49 steak you would expect it to be done properly. View all feedback.

Worst main I have ever had at a fine dining restaurantI had the fish of the day - red mullet.

The bistro is especially lovely in the warm spring months where the flowers blooms and the vineyards are green, but even on the crisp but sunny Autumn day

Today my husband, grandson and myself dined at this delightful restaurant as had been recommended to us. We could not have been more pleased with the overall service. The food was so well presented with attention to detail. Service very friendly and for a lousy wet day in the Swan Valley it certainly was a beautiful way to enjoy a long lunch. Wines from Pinelli Wines just lovely. The duck and the pork belly for mains just all cooked to perfection. Sweets superb. We will definitely back again. The restaurant has a lovely cosy outlook.

We visited for lunch and see the menu for the Bastille Day celebrations. We both shared Squid with garlic and Spinach and to follow Confit Duck on polenta with French green beans. To drink we tried the Pinelli Shiraz. Excellent match to the Duck. See the pictures for the delightful meal. Hope to return soon for the Bastille Day celebrations.

Sunday lunch with friends was memorable. Not many restaurants have been memorable in recent times. My meal was notably delicious. The pork belly was superb and even the side of spinach was scrumptious with the garlic buttery flavour. My companions had a steak and fish which they all liked. The mains are not large but adequate. The wine was good and the service tops. I will be going back.Another plus is that it is also in the Entertainment book.
