Late at night th... read more Very lovely place, great for photos. Would not recommend on a rainy day, most of the grounds is grass, and it can get quite muddy and slippery. Late at night there is very little lighting to help you navigate the grounds. But on the whole, it was a lovely evening, with good food, we enjoyed ourselves.

Unfortunately the food was below average which was also disappointing to the wedding party and other guests. Otherwise I would have given a score of 5.

Martina, the... read more My husband and I recently had our wedding ceremony in the Hidden Gardens at Caversham House. The venue was beautiful and the gardens were stunning. Martina, the function manager was lovely to work with. She was very nice and helpful. Easy to communicate with and to contact. Our only faults for the day was that we organized a golf buggy through Caversham to help transport our elderly family members from the entrance down to the hidden Gardens. The golf buggy was at the entrance of caversham house but was unattended the whole time, so our nonnas and other elderly family members had to walk down the hidden gardens and back by themselves which was quite strenuous for them. And the red carpet on the day wasn’t tucked into the steps very well, so there were a few tripping hazards walking up and down the stairs. Apart from that the whole ceremony was perfect. Martina was waiting for myself and the bridesmaids when we arrived in the limo and gave us instructions and extra advice about walking down the along the grass, behind the trees and down the isle. There were even staff waiting for me just before I walked along the red carpet down the isle who assisted with laying out and re-positioning my dress/ veil to make sure it was perfect for when I walked down the isle. The Hiddens Gardens was a picture perfect location for our ceremony and the scenic landscaping provided us with beautiful photos of ourselves, bridal party and family. Thank you!!!
