Tonto Grill - CAVE CREEK

With the high season winding down, Tonto is more relaxed. Special kudos to our server Ryan, and also the delightful young guy who served water before Ryan came over. It is a fine thing to have the staff make a good impression from the very first minute! Great job by the kitchen, too. Amazed at how good the schnitzel was!

Treated Mom to the Mothers Day Brunch. Everything was amazing. Food was incredible and beautifully presented. I have enjoyed meals at great restaurants around the world and am stunned that the Tonto Bar and Grill consistently delivers such amazing cuisine at such affordable prices. We heard they served 600 people Sunday, and as we were leaving the last patrons were being served. The entree's were as stunningly presented then as earlier. A huge thank you to the chef and team and to the servers and staff who made it look effortless. Mom was definitely pleased.

Although we have been to the Tonto Bar and Grill before, we had no idea that Mother's Day brunch would be so special. The place was mobbed, reservations recommended. They selected an amazing 4 course meal that had variety, class and of course was tasteful! We will be back, love the vibe in this place. Staff was fantastic.

We always have a great experience Love the ambiance and always bring guests to Tonto However just a suggestion .... it would be nice to have bread and butter while waiting for our meal.

Mother's Day brunch was good. Adult options were nice, however the kid options were very questionable. Charging $25 for 1 strip of bacon, a handful of diced potatoes and one small scrambled egg, is a big time up charge. The other options were way too advanced (appetite) for kids 10 and under. No options for pancakes or waffles or even an omelet. The service was very bad! We arrived at 10am and there were 3 other (total) groups sitting outside. Our waitress clearly did not want to be there and couldn't even remember to bring napkins, silverware or waters. We would go back, however for that cost, the experience really wasn't anything to write home about.
