The Beaumont - Catonsville

A great experience! I took my mom, brother and wife to the Beaumont last night Food and service were excellent. I highly recommend

This was me n hubby first time at the Beaumont. Based on review I read prior to our visit I was expecting the restaurant to look little fancier. We dined at 4:45 and were the only customers there upon our arrival. Initially service was great. Complimentary bread was delicious!!! Husband had the lollipop lamb chops well done as requested and they were delicious. We also shared a salad as our appetizer and it was good too. Cons: I was disappointed that they didn’t have sockeye salmon for an entree as advertised online dinner menu (that was a main reason we came there). So I got their Norwegian salmon and it was ok. More disappointing was the 20 ounce steak hubby requested WELL Done. It was well and delicious on the edges but soon as he cut inside blood started pouring out. When we should the waiter, he simply said do you want me to box it up to take. I replied I guess I’ll just have to cook it at home if that’s my only option . The waiter never offered to have chef cook it more as ordered. His body language became negative and he cleared our table and came back with just the bill. He said with a disappointing face, I took the steak off your bill .

The Beaumont never disappoints. It is simply an outstanding restaurant.

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at this restaurant. We submitted a reservation through this platform and explained it was our anniversary. We arrived exactly at appointed time. The entrance was a little cluttered upon our arrival as the Manager was collecting names of newly arrived guests (ours and a couple in front of us) to sort out the seating. As this was happening, another couple entered the restaurant. To make room and be considerate, my wife and I stepped aside, which allowed them to speak with the hostess. My wife and I continue chatting while waiting for our table, when the hostess sits the couple that arrived after us in our seat. There was no communication between the manager and the host, which caused us to miss out on our table. They told us to take a seat at the bar to wait for a new table to become available because all tables were occupied in the establishment. This was disappointing but they comped our first round of drinks. We decided to eat at the bar. The bartenders were excellent attentive and they made fantastic drinks. It wasn't long until we ran into more issues. When my wife attempted to order her meal, they explained they were out of Filet Mignon. Unfortunately, my wife made the choice to order the New York Strip. The cook on the steak was what we requested but there was no seasoning on the steak, like it had been forgotten entirely. We attempted to revive it by adding our own salt and pepper; it didn't work out. The restaurant removed the charge from our tab we left it. I ordered the ribeye and thought it was perfectly fine. We both enjoyed our sides: Mac Cheese, Mashed Potatoes, Brussel Sprouts and Green Beans. We also liked the Brie and Choc Pistachio Cake. After the disappointing meal, my wife got very sick after dinner that evening. There was no other opportunity for her to get sick other than the dinner. Instead of celebrating five years of marriage in a proper manner, she was fighting for her life on the toilet.

I ordered Surf and Turf Salad which come with blue cheese, shrimps, steak, tomato, lettuce and corn. Too much blue cheese and why less lettuce? Need larger plate than current medium plate. Steak is fair because too hard chew.
