In m... read more This restaurant has the winning combination of Top quality sushi, creative cocktails, great service AND reasonable prices. They also have take-out service. In my opinion, what makes this restaurant successful is it’s consistency for using high quality fish (if it’s not premium catch of the day, it will not be served) and the chic yet relaxed atmosphere. It’s very much like a New York style Japanese restaurant. Staff is friendly, speak English and collaborate well to make your experience enjoyable. Reservations are recommended however they have a 15+ seat sushi bar that is open for walk-ins without a reservation. Perfect for the spontaneous sushi dinner for one also! I also recommend the cooked dishes such as fish soba and the appetizer cooked tofu. Very flavorful. There is no doubt for why it holds the reputation as the best Japanese restaurant in Catania. Highly recommend for a sophisticated and romantic dinner.

However, last night will be the last time we come here. We had been going at least twice a month and have regularly brought colleagues from my fiance's company. We both ordered soba dishes, one meat the other seafood. The noodles were ramen noodels not soba. When we voiced concern about a 17 euro meal consisting of ramen noodlea, were told they were soba noodles. We are both from NY and have traveled extensively and have never seen soba noodles that look and tasted like ramen noodles, They replaced both of our dishes with udon noodle dishes. Upon paying, we were told that we would have to pay for one of the soba dishes. For consistent and reliable clients, that was outrageous. There is a sushi restaurant just around the corner from here. That is where we will bring friends and colleagues going forward.
