Firstly, this is a real restaurant and you may ha... read more We were very lucky to have our Airbnb just above this place. We tried it last night and it couldn't be better! Firstly, this is a real restaurant and you may have to wait a bit longer than in some other places where food is already prepared. It wasn't a problem for us at all as we love to take our time with a glass of wine or cocktail. Oh yes, they DO make perfect margaritas! They have a small selection of wines yet very good ones. We were given free nachos with spicy dips while waiting. The food is freshly prepared everyday and you won't be served anything which is cooked from frozen or the day before. We had burritos, chimichangas and probably the best guacamole I've ever had and we all loved it. Both food and drinks were reasonably priced. We found out that the chef is Mexican so she knows exactly what she cooks. The gentleman who served us was friendly and attentive and he even gave us complimentary tequilas at the end of our meal (but that may not be a standard thing so please don't expect it, just in case : . There are only two people working and they're both the owners. They may get busier sometimes but they do love their business and they do it with passion. We felt very welcome and we're going to be back in the next few days.

After a bit of an adventure locating the restaurant (TA's map/directions showed the location up the hill versus at lake level) and a slow start to placing our o... read more After a bit of an adventure locating the restaurant (TA's map/directions showed the location up the hill versus at lake level) and a slow start to placing our order, our experience improved dramatically when Mossimo brought our first round of margaritas, followed shortly by Chely bringing our pollo verde enchiladas and tacos barbacoa AMAZING! As two Californians we had kept our expectations in check who knew that some of the best Mexican food we would have would be in Italy?! After speaking to a local fellow diner, he mentioned that there was ceviche available but off menu next time.
