The Bread Cheese - Castle Point
The Bread Cheese
Description
Nestled at a convenient location, The Bread Cheese offers a mixed experience for diners. While its friendly staff and quick service are frequently praised, reviews reveal concerns about menu prices and cleanliness. The limited offerings, especially for dietary restrictions, often disappoint, with some dishes falling short on flavor. However, the highlight remains the carvery, celebrated for generous portions and quality. Families appreciate the welcoming atmosphere and special events, making it a notable spot for gatherings. Despite some inconsistencies, many patrons express their intent to return, drawn by the restaurant's charm and excellent roasts.

Food portion was like world war 2 rationing was back on force. No vegan deserts or vegan milk...very poor show. Waiting staff were friendly and attentive and the pub was cosy and welcoming even before the impending renovations. Just sort the food out. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

We had an amazing experience at Bread and Cheese restaurant, where we were served by the friendly and kind Mollie. She helped us navigate the menu and guided us to the delicious carvery. The decor and environment were breathtaking, and we will definitely be returning to explore more. The staff made our visit a special occasion, and we left with nothing but positivity and happiness. Thank you to all the members of staff for a wonderful time.
