I absolutely adore small local diners, and this one is my favorite in Casper. The food is great, and the service is incredibly friendly. It’s not fancy, but the quality of the food and the prices are excellent. The coffee is solid, and the biscuits and gravy are truly delicious. I recommend adding a side of sausage to go with the gravy. I make sure to eat here every time I’m in Casper for breakfast.
The best chicken fried steak in Casper! The gravy is what really makes it stand out. The mother-daughter duo providing service is fantastic, and I truly appreciate the hometown atmosphere. I've loved this place for years—it's definitely my number one choice!
Plows Diner is a charming throwback to earlier times. It's not upscale or fancy, but the food is fantastic, and the atmosphere is filled with genuine people. If you're looking for a place to sip tea with your pinky raised, this isn't it. However, if you want delicious food at fair prices, grab a seat. The locals come and go as if they have a routine, and when the locals choose to eat here, you can be sure the food is of great quality.
Breakfast as it should be. If you're looking for the classic small town diner feel, this is it. I recommend the two eggs (sunny side up) with sausage links, and biscuits and gravy. The home fries are buried under the biscuits and gravy which isn't a style I've had before but it's actually pretty awesome. Add a little green Tabasco and you're good to go.
