We were warmly gree... read more For our first night back in Cascais, this was a first visit. This is a small traditional restaurant with simple tables and bent wood chairs. We were warmly greeted by the proprietor on arrival, and despite the restaurant rapidly filling up, he managed to serve us and everybody else in the restaurant really well throughout the evening. I had the seafood paella which is one of their signature dishes on the menu; you can only order it for two, but I skipped the starter and demolished three quarters of it. The seafood included pawns, langoustine, mussels, and squid sublime! Wife and daughter had the pica pau as a starter and then one had bacalao and the other garlic prawns with very good reviews all round. The proprietor recommended the red wine which was excellent 16 euros a bottle. If you would like a really authentic taste of Portugal then Quinto Sabor is the place.

We ate at this restaurant twice last week while on holiday in Cascais. The food is excellent, especially the seafood. I... read more We were interested to try this restaurant out and we were not disappointed . The owner explained us all the options on the menu and everything was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the deep fried green beans, salmon carpaccio and boregos. We had a nice bottle of Dao and they even made an omelet for our one year old . Even though we were early and the only ones in the restaurant it was a memorable evening .
