Was Anonym at Mariscaria a mag?
menu was very good, not too wide, which is never good in my experience. Grilled fish options are good price food well cooked and beautiful simple salad. personal very friendly. definitely recommend if they like their fish. View all feedback.

What Anonym dislikes about Mariscaria:
Was very disappointed by the fried octopus I choose. The vegetables were lukewarm and it didn't have much taste. One of the parties ordered tuna steak and the waiter didn't even ask how we wanted it to be cooked and we had to ask that it is medium/razy. When it arrived, it was medium/good done and looked quite dry and not very appealing. The other two guests of the party had the seafood they enjoyed. There was a TV i... View all feedback.

Nice restaurant, good service. We had gazpacho to start with not sure if it was home made. We then shared a fisherman’s platter of fish. The fish was really tasty but not very hot, I wonder if it had been sat in the kitchen before coming out. Other people’s seafood looked great so I don’t want to put people off going.

If I can give you advice, it would be to go to the next door (restaurant o pescador), which is much better at all levels: food, price and service.

The service was very good but most tables are outside and it was windy. There is a section on the menu titled 'so good you 'll want more ', which was true but mostly because the portions were so small . The grilled squid consisted of five small squid the size of finger puppets. They were very tasty and adequate for a starter but not a main.

Good restaurant in Cascais. Basic food and wine at a reasonable price. A bit disappointed by the Mascaria plate for two, but many of the other dishes looked good. The house recommendation for wine was also good.

Ok but lacking appeal. The food was nice with good flavour but it didn’t jump off the plate. Service was good but again felt mechanical, no real warmth
