Was Anonym at Extremo Oriente a mag?
Don't be put off by the shabby appearance of this restaurant, it is easy to walk past and dismiss but the food is lovely, fresh and good sized portions. Staff helpful, very willing to chat about menu and help. Excellent value also. Would absolutely recommended. View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Extremo Oriente:
I love my Asian food but was very disappointed with this. Food was prepared fast and was very cheap but knew there was a reason why it was empty. All our dishes were pretty bland. My curry was watery. View all feedback.
5 minute walk from city centre we found this family owned restaurant. Sitting up to 100 people, it has a kind staff and a very nice food choice. I advise the economical lunch menu or even the delicious dim sum. With limited parking spaces around, it is better to walk. We will go back to this wang family restaurant for sure.

As mentioned in previous reviews, the decor needs some updating, wall paneling is beginning to fall apart and the colour is somewhat dismal. I ordered Duck with Orange and fried rice with a starter of a spring roll. The starter was as you would expect and duck was beautifully presented with real orange and sauce not just sauce. Price was very reasonable 20.75 for two meals one beer and one coke. Would go back

Having chinese in portugal may have been a mistake! The experience in the indian restaurants was very good so we took a chance. The extreme oriente was recommended on trip advisor so went there. The place was empty..(we missed the first warning sign! . The decor was sad(some paneling was held up with activia stickers The ?owner didn't speak any English and the food was so fast it must have been microwaved. The mains arrived before we had finished the spring roll that was put on the cold place that could have been sitting at the table setting since Christmas! My chicken curry(playing it safe didn't taste much of curry with so much bamboo and mushrooms it was hard to find the chicken that was certainly not breast. My son didn't eat his dinner at all but no alternative was offered. Advise: when in portugal don't eat Chinese! Sounds obvious when you actually say it!!
