The restaurant is not sign-posted and is up a long rough track. We booked for the next day and really enjoyed the meal. The position and view (over the ocean) is absolutely stunning and the food is superb. We enjoyed the pork and chicken with clams. The local wine was great value and really tasty. Can't rate it highly enough and so glad we found it. Book to be sure of a table.

Food is standard typicall Portuguese for tourists. Staff is ok. Ticked the box to visit this one and we don’t plan coming back.

The list of food is l... read more I know this restaurant since the 1980s. The manager, menu and location are really 5 stars. It 's an unpretentious, yet unique, restaurant. The list of food is limited to a wonderful selection of Portuguese dishes, cooked with the best and freshest ingredients. The location is amazing, just above a cliff where land ends and the sea begins . The decor is a bit outdated, kind of 1970s modern, which, I 'm my view, gives it an additional charm. The owner, Mr. Manuel, isn 't clearly looking to compete with more trendy restaurants in Guincho area. He has his own clientele of long-time devouts, so better book.
