For my boyfriend and I's first experience at a Laotian restaurant, it exceeded all my expectations. The atmosphere is bright and airy, and I absolutely love the decor. Parking was also convenient for us on a Sunday night; we snagged the fourth spot on the first floor of the parking garage, so we didn’t have to walk far. Since I’m doing dry January, I decided to try their zero-proof margarita, and it was incredible! I’ve had many margaritas before, and this one ranks in my top three. I can’t wait to try it again after dry January to see how it compares with actual tequila. Our server was kind and attentive without being intrusive, which set a great tone for the evening. I ordered the Chicken Curry while my boyfriend got the Crying Tiger. The Chicken Curry was outstanding—comforting with its thick, creamy broth and delicious pieces of chicken, carrots, and both purple and regular potatoes. My boyfriend's Crying Tiger featured a beautifully cooked steak and a refreshing papaya salad. The steak was incredibly tender and flavorful. Although it was on the pricier side at $49, it was definitely worth it for a special occasion. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant to try their food; you won’t be disappointed!
