Everything was great except for the refusal to upgrade my 6 oz filet a larger one, for a fee, on my Ruth 's classics meal. I 've done this before with no issue. Otherwise all else was good. View all feedback.
Expensive, but worth it when you have a foreigner visiting town who wants to try the most American thing.
Ruth's Chris is my husband's favorite restaurant It's not your every day type of place to eat, so we go there on special occasions.
Food was okI expected more because I've heard great thingsIt was an ok dinnerI wasn't wowed and nothing was spectacular for me.

We made reservations for an anniversary dinner. Ruth's Chris doesn't disappoint. Food was great, service was awesome and the ambiance was nice. This was a first visit to this location on LaCantera Parkway. Downside was my vehicle being broke into and ruining the rest of our evening plans. Signs said surveyed by camera - no necessarily true. The buildings are surveyed. Of course, not really the fault of Ruth's Chris but waiting an hour to report it since we live just outside SA was definitely a downer. Next time - UBER for sure.
