Somewhat disappointed overall! My wife loved her Spicy Shrimp but my Sushi Sashimi entree had a poor selection of fish although it was very fresh. It was made up with all the cheap cuts of tuna, no salmon and one small piece of mackerel. The ginger dressing on the salad lacked flavor. Our wine refill was a different and cheaper pour so we refused it and had to ask for our original choice. I had to ask three times for enough carry out boxes. You would have thought they were made of gold.

They should close this restaurant-I was disappointed in every way. I'm upset with opentable for putting it at the top of a list called 10 best kept secrets near you. We were not greeted for 10 minutes after we were seated, the manager noticed this and began taking care of us-he was very pleasant, although he had not been a server in some time and it was noticeable. We noticed a lot of unprofessional-ism happening in the restaurant and the other tables around us were not getting attentive service either. We had appetizers, sushi, and entrees... ALL BAD. I hope the manager finds a new job soon, I heard he had a son.

We had a wonderful time! The owner is great and always stops by our table when we dine here. We had a big part of 10 and the service was great! They have the best hibachi!

Two exceptional dining experiences at Eighty8 Asian Bistro This was our second visit to Eighty8. We enjoyed the exceptional food and a visit from the owner/chef, Dai to check on us to ensure that our experience was fantastic. An early arrival ensures that you beat the crowds and you can enjoy the benefits of a Happy Hour and half priced appetizers. Our waiter, Eric was also eager to provide us with answers to any questions that we had on the menu and to suggest his favorites. Eric knew the menu inside and out, was accurate in taking our order and personable during our service. We found the lettuce wrap and the seafood bisque to be great. Our main dishes were delicious. They also take coupons! Our guests commented that it was the very best Asian dining experience ever. Each enjoyed the decor and the relaxed atmosphere that is perfect for conversing and entertaining. Upon heading for the door, a second waiter dashed over to open the door and thanked us for coming and invited us back. We appreciated the very nice touch. We wish Dai and all his staff continued great success! Thanks, Marion and John

I absolutely love the food here! The portions are generous and everything is incredibly delicious. My favorite dish is the shrimp fried rice; the shrimp are perfectly sized, and the seasoning is spot on. I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve tried, and it has completely changed my perspective on ordering shrimp fried rice for takeout. The quality is definitely worth the price. The only reason I didn’t give it a full 5 stars is that the ambiance is a bit too dark—the lighting could definitely be improved.
