Having tried over 30 BBQ places in North Carolina, I can confidently say that Big Mike's Brew and Que stands out at the top. Whether you're a fan of beef brisket, chopped pork, or smoked chicken, each option is excellent. They also offer unique sandwiches and sides, along with a fantastic selection of local craft beers. You won't be disappointed!

I've had plenty of excellent BBQ and brisket before—enough to think that nothing could top my previous experiences. I've even cooked in whole hog competitions and tried various styles, but today changed my perspective. In my opinion, Brew and Que is truly the best. The smoked mac and cheese and the smoked loaded potato were absolutely exceptional. Honestly, this place is hands down the best BBQ I've ever had.

While I appreciate traditional spots that have been around for years, this place nails everything. Their greens are fantastic, and I eagerly await Wednesdays and Saturdays for the burnt ends (brisket) – they're simply amazing. The sweet tea is just right, too. The pork barbecue boasts a perfectly smoked flavor, is not overly fatty, and comes with a variety of delicious sauces. I recently tried the half chicken, and it was truly life-changing. And let’s not forget their banana pudding! Brew N Que has everything you could want from a barbecue joint. Additionally, the service is friendly and personal, the portions are generous, and the quality of the food is consistently top-notch. It’s definitely one of my favorite dining spots in the Triangle.
