Being an admitted foodie snob, especially when it comes to BBQ, it's takes a lot to impress me into a 5 star review. I've visited over 30 BBQ joints in NC and Big Mike's Brew and Que is at the top of the list. Whether you like beef brisket, chopped pork or smoked chicken, each one is great. They also have unique sandwiches and sides as well as a great selection of local craft beer. You won't be disappointed here!
Today was my first visit a friend took me and I have to say I thought I have had great BBQ and Brisket that was so good no one could match that experience and I say this because I have cooked in whole hog competitions before and have eaten a lot of different styles however today has proved that Brew and Que in my opinion is the best and the smoked mac and cheese , smoked loaded potato was just over the top.......to me guys hands down the best ever
Best barbeque in Raleigh, hands down. I like old fashioned, so don't get me wrong, I'll still go to the places that have been around for decades, but Brew N Que gets EVERYTHING right. Their greens are delicious, I live for Wednesdays and Saturdays because of the burnt ends (brisket), and their sweet tea is perfect. The pork barbeque has a perfectly smoked flavor, not too fatty, and wonderful sauces to choose from. Had the half chicken most recently, and it was, no joke, life changing. Not to mention, they have banana pudding. Basically everything you can ask for from a bbq place. On top of all that, wonderful personable service, generous portions, and consistency in the quality of the food. One of my favorite places to eat in the Triangle.
Amazing food!!! Wonderful staff!! Food was on point! Don’t let the small exterior fool you!
Absolutely delicious food, great beer choices, and awesome service. What more can you ask for? Had the burnt ends, cornbread, baked beans, and banana pudding. Also tried the gf's pulled pork and mac'n'cheese. All of which was made in house, no Velveeta, Jiffy, or Bush's here. Pair this with their myriad of great beer choices on tap and in bottle and attentive cheery service and Brew N Que is definitely a winner. If you haven't been here and are in the area, it's a must.
