Brecotea
Description
Brecotea charms with an Instagrammable, modern bakery offering an impressive range of fresh sweet and savory pastries, cakes and specialty bubble teas. Standout items include fruit-filled rolls, savory buns and inventive milk teas, though coffee can be weak and some tea or taro preparations occasionally feel overly dense. Service and freshness vary—weekends are best—while the clean, photo-ready space and ample seating make it ideal for casual dates or dessert runs. Reasonably priced and highly recommended for pastry and boba fans willing to time their visit for peak selection.

I always order the Taro Boba here and have enjoyed it before, but today was a huge disappointment. When I got home, I realized the drink had very little actual liquid, about half the cup was just thick taro paste, and the cup itself felt heavier than usual. It was so dense and unpleasant that I couldn’t even drink it. I didn’t see who prepared it because I was in the restroom, but I did find it strange how quickly it was ready. This felt rushed and careless, and it’s not what I expect from a place I usually trust. I really hope this was just a one-time mistake, because it made me question whether I want to keep coming back.
Yesterday I had the privilege to go to Brecotea and try their wonderful pastries and boba tea. What shocked me upon entry is the cleanliness of the establishment and the amount of pastries I could have chosen from. Ultimately, I decided to go with the chicken curry pastrie, berry crossint and the pistachio pastry with the bubble tea cake boba. Overall, my experience was wonderful and i will for sure be coming back to test out new flavors. I highly recommend this restaurants if you are in North Carolina. The pastries were delicious and fresh. We tried both the sweet and salty options. Lots of sitting areas. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Service: Dine in Meal type: Other Price per person: $1–10
This was my first visit to Brecotea, and it certainly won't be my last. Although I don't reside in Raleigh, so I can't visit frequently, I left with a box and a bag full of treats. It was around 8 PM, and I was a bit let down to find that the main display cases were nearly empty. We quickly grabbed what we wanted and moved on to the side cases, which were packed with delicious desserts. To sum it up, everything we tried was fantastic. I will definitely return at every opportunity!
