Crane Brook - Carver
Crane Brook
Description
Tucked beside a picturesque pond, this cozy restaurant offers a warm, deck-and-dining-room experience with standout dishes—roasted lemon-herb chicken, impressive tomahawk steaks, fresh seafood and inventive cocktails—plus a thoughtful wine list. Service and consistency are mixed: some staff are attentive and accommodating for celebrations, while others deliver long waits and occasional overcooked or small-portion entrées; a few cleanliness and décor choices feel overdone. Overall it’s a charming spot for special occasions and scenic dinners, best enjoyed with patience for occasional service hiccups.

Terribly slow service. 2.5 hours to receive our food. Spoke with the owner and received all excuses. Apparently, it takes longer to cook steaks here than anywhere else on the planet. Then it was the hostesses fault. At least take ownership and compus some of the meals, a bottle of wine, appetizers. We won?t be back and can?t recommend this place to anyone. We wanted to?butwe can?t.
A perfect thanksgiving at a perfect restaurant. They accommodated our large, crazy family without breaking a sweat. The staff is kind and professional. Everything we ordered from appetizers to dessert was excellent, especially the 50oz wagyu tomahawk steak, which was cooked to perfection. In an age when dining out is hardly worth it in terms of cost and quality, The Crane Brookrestaurant is a truly exceptional establishment that you should have tried already.
Our 1st visit and we took my mom for her 99th birthday. Our waitress Christine was fabulous, the chef made a special batch of scallops for my mom. She got a 4 layer piece of cake with a candle. Food, staff and view were all outstanding. We'll be backfor mom's 100th! Thank you
8oz filet cooked medium rare was amazing! Very nice and attentive waitstaff. An espresso martini to end the night.
Amazing atmosphere..poor service. Food was decent except for an over cooked salmon entrée. However there were small portions (only 4 ravioli as my entrée) and it took forever! Dinner arrived an hour after ordering. It took 30 min to get a cocktail. They only offered an apology for the overcooked salmon and I had to ask for compensation but they took 50% off that dish. Willnot be back.
