Rosebrook - Carroll
Rosebrook
Description
Nestled in the stunning Omni Mount Washington Hotel, Rosebrook Bar offers breathtaking mountain views paired with a relaxed atmosphere and a menu focused on light bites and appetizers. Many praise the cozy porch seating and the selection of cocktails and wines, though some drinks fall short of expectations. Food quality varies from delicious pretzels and flavorful sandwiches to less impressive fries and dry burgers. Service is inconsistent—ranging from attentive and friendly to slow and, occasionally, rude. Overall, Rosebrook is best suited for those seeking a scenic spot to unwind with drinks and small plates rather than a full-service dining experience.

Over an hour to get food. Kitchen forgot two dishes. If not for the amazing view, this would be a one star review. I would go here for a drink and then go elsewhere for food. Not close to George it Price per person: $30–50 Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 5

This place was versatile. You could eat on the veranda and take in the views of the white mountains almost 180 degrees in view. The drinks are extremely pricey for the size served. They were delish thou. If I can recommend a single thing it would have to be the clam chowder. Ask for butter not oil and ask for pepper otherwise the best clam chowder I’ve ever had. It’s on the thicker side but it’s silky smooth and not that pasty flour taste. Kesha was super friendly and everyone seemed genuinely happy to work there. It’s definitely a dinner (2-5) mealtime type of place. You get to watch the sunsets.
The view is great, but that’s the only reason to come here. Enjoy a drink with a gorgeous Mountain View in the background. But I’d only get a drink they don’t have to make like a beer or wine. The drink list shows great cocktails but they bear no resemblance to the drink you receive. My husband’s old fashioned was watery and just not good, with normal ice instead of a large cube as advertised. The fries were inedible and the club was also bad, with stale turkey and not-toasted bread. The best part was the tomato and he doesn’t like tomatoes. The chips and onion dip were pretty good though. Not sure why they included salsa though.
The food was amazing and the service was great! Best of all was the beautiful view overlooking the white mountains! We ordered the charcuterie board and the Washington flatbread which were both excellent as an afternoon snack Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
